Neal Pitts is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in cloud architecture and engineering, currently serving as a Cloud Architect at Simple Technology Solutions since November 2020, focusing on NASA EED-2 and EED-3 contracts. Previous roles include AWS Architect positions at Red Canyon Engineering & Software and Hitachi Vantara Federal, both associated with the NASA EED-2 contract, as well as work as an AWS Consultant at REAN Cloud contributing to NASA’s Earth Observing Systems Data and Information System. Neal has also held various technical positions, including Infrastructure Ops Manager at Fugue, Inc., and Linux Engineer at ZeniMax Online Studios. Earlier in the career, Neal served as a Platform Consultant at Red Hat and Technical Consultant at Egenera, while also gaining valuable experience as a Network Engineer at the American Institutes for Research and Unix Engineer III at VERISIGN. Education was completed at the University of Maryland in 1995.
