Zlatko Jovanovic has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Zlatko started their career in 2003 as a Sales Representative at Processor Commerce, where they assisted customers with choosing the best technology solutions, performed repairs and installations, and tested hardware. In 2004, they worked as an Automatic Control System Technician at Jugent, where they maintained control systems and promoted equipment and tools.
Moving forward, in 2012, Jovanovic joined Illinois Manufacturing Foundation as an Intern, where they planned, developed, and installed the organization's computer network. Zlatko also handled Windows Server 2008 installation and configuration, as well as designed the physical and logical network plan.
After that, Jovanovic joined MedGyn Products, Inc. in 2012 as a Network Administrator. In this role, they administered Windows Server 2008, ensured network availability and security, and provided desktop support to local users. Zlatko maintained computer networks and their related environments, including hardware, software, and configurations.
In 2014, Jovanovic returned to Simple Laboratories as a Senior Technologist. Zlatko was responsible for integrating lab equipment with the laboratory information system and coordinating EMR/EHR interface projects. Zlatko held this position until 2016, when they took up a role as a Senior Technologist at American Medical Lab Inc. There, they continued their work of integrating medical lab equipment with the laboratory information system and managing EMR/EHR interface projects.
Finally, in 2017, Jovanovic became the Director of Information Technology at Simple Laboratories. In this role, they focused on systems integration, ensuring lab equipment is integrated with the laboratory information system, and coordinating EMR/EHR interface projects.
Zlatko Jovanovic began their education at the University of Belgrade, where they pursued an Associate of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems. Zlatko completed their studies at this institution in 2003.
After a gap in their education, Zlatko enrolled at the International Academy of Design and Technology-Chicago in 2009. There, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Forensics in 2012.
In addition to their formal education, Zlatko Jovanovic has also obtained several certifications. In October 2013, they completed Internal Quality Audit Training at mdi Consultants Inc. In October 2011, they acquired certifications in Digital Forensics Basics and Information Security Basics from the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service. Furthermore, in July 2010, Zlatko attained the CCNA Network Exploration certification from Cisco.
