Martin Pochurko has a diverse work experience in the field of finance and administration. Martin began their career in 1987 at the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, where they held the role of AVP Financial Services for nearly 16 years. Martin then joined The University of British Columbia, where they served as the Director of Financial Reporting and Budgeting from 2003 to 2007. Following this, they worked at Simon Fraser University as the AVP Finance from 2007 to 2012. Martin then moved on to Fraser Health Authority, where they held the position of Chief Financial Officer from 2012 to 2015. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President of Finance and Administration at Simon Fraser University since October 2015. In addition to their university roles, they also worked as an Adjunct Professor at The University of British Columbia from November 2017 to February 2020.
Martin Pochurko earned a Master of Education degree in Leadership in Higher Education from Simon Fraser University. Martin also completed a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the same university. Additionally, they obtained the CPA, CGA designation from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).
