Dugan O'Neil is a highly experienced academic and research leader, currently serving as Vice-President for Research and Innovation at Simon Fraser University since May 2003, where roles have also included Professor of Physics and Vice-President for Research and International. Previously, Dugan O'Neil held positions such as Chief Science Officer at Compute Canada | Calcul Canada from January 2014 to July 2017 and Research Associate at Michigan State University from 1999 to 2003. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Elementary Particle Physics from the University of Victoria, a Master of Science (MSc) in Experimental High Energy Particle Physics from the University of Alberta, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics from the University of New Brunswick.
