Upasana Thapar has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Upasana began their career in 2013 as a Marketing Intern at DLF BRANDS LIMITED, where they focused on developing marketing strategies and brand awareness for the launch of Forever21 in Delhi. Upasana then interned at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts in the Sales and Marketing division, gaining experience in market research and client handling.

In 2014, Upasana joined Zomato as a Sales Manager during the company's expansion phase. Their responsibilities included acquiring and maintaining client relationships, particularly with premium and five-star properties. Upasana played a key role in expanding the company's revenue base.

From 2016 to 2017, Upasana worked in business development at SEED CSR, India's leading CSR and R&R agency. Upasana was involved in proposal formulation and implementation for projects such as Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Samhita (urban sanitation development).

In 2017, Upasana took on the role of Manager Corporate Connect at iimjobs.com, where they contributed to building corporate partnerships.

Upasana then joined Meltwater as a Sales Consultant, focusing on sales strategies and customer engagement from 2017 to 2019.

In 2020, Upasana transitioned to Similarweb as a Customer Success Manager, where they excelled in managing customer relationships and ensuring customer success.

Currently, Upasana is working at Altudo, starting as a Customer Success Manager and moving up to Associate Director and later Director of Customer Success. Their role involves driving customer success strategies and overseeing the implementation of customer success programs.

Upasana Thapar completed their Global MBA in Marketing from SP Jain School of Global Management in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a B.com (hons) degree in Business/Commerce from Delhi University, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. In terms of their high school education, Upasana attended the army school in Secunderabad, although specific dates were not provided.
