Balazs Honti has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Balazs is currently the Co-Founder of Simerse, a role they began in July 2021. Prior to this, in 2019, they worked as an Entrepreneur In Residence at Heartbeat Labs GmbH.

From 2012 to 2019, Balazs worked at Airbus, where they held multiple roles. Balazs started as the Digital Innovation Manager - Venture Builder, responsible for setting up an internal venture builder unit and leading the digital transformation initiative. Balazs was also the Manager Global R&T Cooperation - Liaison to A^3 in Silicon Valley, acting as a liaison between the Silicon Valley ecosystem and Airbus, and focusing on scouting new tech and business opportunities. Additionally, they built the Defence Market Solution Portfolio, establishing a new internal consulting department and delivering country and sector strategies.

In 2012, Balazs worked at Université catholique de Louvain as a Research Assistant, leading a project funded by ESA to bring space communication to the field.

Balazs began their career at IB Consultancy in 2010, starting as an Analyst and later promoted to Consultant. Balazs played a crucial role in establishing the Brussels office and provided consultancy services for defense and security to various clients.

Balazs also worked at A.T. Kearney in 2008, where they conducted a feasibility study on introducing new technologies in Hungary. Balazs gathered and analyzed data, conducted expert interviews, and contributed to the final output.

Balazs briefly worked as a Financial Analyst at Eli Lilly in 2008, collaborating with the CFO on the business plan and supporting finance department activities.

Additionally, Balazs Honti has obtained a certification as a "Certified Wrong Thinker" from Future Partners in January 2018. Balazs Honti's education journey also includes participation in the Internship Program for Professional Students (IPP) at Singularity University, although the specific years are not provided.
