Sujan Dhar is a Principal Engineer at Simerics, Inc. since March 2014, where responsibilities include research, code development, applications expertise, and academic engagement. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Development Engineer and Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University's Maha Fluid Power Research Center, focusing on Fluid Structure Interaction modeling and developing advanced numerical codes. At General Motors, Sujan served as a Senior Engineer in the CAE Methods and Thermofluids group, creating novel computational engineering methods used across the company. Additional experience encompasses work at SUNY Buffalo on brain aneurysm rupture risk prediction, an internship at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India involving heat transfer modeling, and an internship at DRDO studying rocket thrust vector control systems.
