Sanuj Ravindran has a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry. Sanuj began their career in 2002 as a Summer Associate at Merrill Lynch. In 2003, they moved to Burrill & Company as Director of the VC Group and Head of the India Group. In 2007, they became a Principal at Radius Ventures. In 2010, they were appointed Managing Director and Venture Partner at Asian Healthcare Fund. In 2012, they joined The Medicines Company as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development. In 2016, they were appointed Chief Business Officer at aTyr Pharma. In 2018, they became CEO in Residence at BridgeBio and Chairman and CEO at PellePharm. In 2020, they assumed the role of Executive Chairman at Phoenix Tissue Repair, Inc. and in 2022 they will become Chief Executive Officer of Simcha Therapeutics.
Sanuj Ravindran received their MD from Thomas Jefferson University, their B.A. from Northwestern University, and their MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, with a focus in Finance, Entrepreneurship and Biotechnology Mgmt.
