Neema Daneshvar

Vice President Of Product at Silvus Technologies

Neema Daneshvar has a diverse and extensive work experience. They started their career at UCLA Neuro-Engineering Research, where they conducted research under the supervision of Professor Dejan Markovic. During this time, they applied engineering technologies to improve brain research and neurological disorder treatment. They also converted neural spike-sorting algorithms into hardware using Matlab Simulink Synplify DSP toolset.

Following their time at UCLA Neuro-Engineering Research, Neema joined UCLA High Speed Electronics Laboratory, where they conducted research under the guidance of Professor Frank Chang. Here, they focused on ASIC design using 65nm CMOS technology and designed a Partial Polyphase CIC Filter to decimate signals.

After their research roles, Neema moved on to Silvus Technologies, Inc. They held multiple positions within the company, starting as an FPGA/Hardware Engineer. In this role, they led a U.S. Army funded project to develop a covert low-probability-of-detect 3x3 60 GHz MIMO radio. They then transitioned to Sr. Systems and Applications Engineer, where they provided guidance and training to customers on integrating Silvus products into existing systems. They also served as the technical point of contact for the Sales and Business Development teams. Neema eventually progressed to the role of Director of Sales Engineering, where they currently work.

Neema Daneshvar completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA) between the years 2005 and 2009. Following this, Neema pursued a higher level of education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from UCLA in the academic year 2009-2010.
