John M. Puetz is an accomplished engineering and product development professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Products at Silvus Technologies since March 2020, John previously held positions including Vice President of Engineering at ATX Networks Corp. and Vice President of Engineering & Products at NSM Surveillance. As the founder and principal consultant of MasterWorks Communications, John provided specialized consulting services in satellite communications and related industries. Additionally, John played a crucial role at ViaSat in transitioning government-focused satcom technology into a commercial offering. Early career accomplishments include leading product development at ComStream Corp and technical project management at M/A-COM Linkabit. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara.
