Corey Shott is a Senior Software Engineer at NCX since September 2023, previously serving as a Staff Software Engineer and in various engineering roles for NextRoll from September 2016 to September 2023. Corey's early career included a volunteer position as a Software Engineer for Women Who Code Silicon Valley, where a Python Flask platform was developed for developers. Prior to the tech industry, Corey worked in policy roles, including as Project & Outreach Manager at Chambers for Innovation and Clean Energy, where network membership grew by 300%. As a Senior Climate & Energy Policy Representative at the National Wildlife Federation, Corey managed a successful campaign for federal climate legislation. Corey holds a Software Engineering degree from Hackbright Academy, a Master's in Environmental Science & Policy from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor's in Political Science from The George Washington University.
