Amirul Asyraf A. has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Amirul Asyraf started their career as a Trainee Workover Engineer at Velesto Energy Berhad in 2012, where they assisted in planning and executing workover operations. Amirul Asyraf then worked as a Field Engineer at GEOLOG International from 2014 to 2016, gaining experience in shallow and deep well drilling campaigns in Kuwait. In 2018, they worked as an Operation Engineer at Zhao Yang Geotechnic before transitioning to a Project Engineer role at ELSA ENERGY, where they coordinated rig inspection work orders and led a sand management project. From 2019 to 2021, Amirul worked as a Field Engineer at Neu Dimension Sdn Bhd, focusing on completion and well intervention. Most recently, they joined PETRONAS in 2021 as a Wells Analyst, before moving on to their current role as an Installation Engineer at Silverwell Energy in 2023.

Amirul Asyraf A. obtained their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Petroleum Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, studying from 2010 to 2014. After that, they pursued a foundation degree in Petroleum Engineering at the same university from 2009 to 2010. In 2007, they completed their O level (SPM) in the Science stream at Mara Junior Science College Merbok.

In 2016 to 2017, Amirul Asyraf A. attended Johor Skills Development Centre to study as a Safety Health Officer, although no degree was specified.

Apart from their formal education, they also obtained a certification in "SQL for data science" from Coursera in September 2022.
