Rob Brown has a diverse work experience in the audio design field. Rob currently works as a Lead Audio Designer at Surgent Studios, starting in April 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Audio Designer at Build A Rocket Boy from December 2019 to March 2022, after working as an Audio Designer from October 2017 to December 2019. Before that, they worked at Solid Audioworks as an Audio Designer from February 2016 to September 2017, where they worked on projects such as NBA Live 18 and Madden NFL 18. Rob also had a role as an Audio Designer at RB Sound Design, where they worked on projects including Divinity: Original Sin 2 and RSPB VR Experience. Additionally, they gained research experience as a Research Intern at Edinburgh Napier University for two months in 2016.
Rob Brown has a sound production education background. Rob obtained a High National Diploma (HND) in Sound Production from Edinburgh College, where they studied interactive audio from 2012 to 2015. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Sound Design from Edinburgh Napier University. Rob completed their studies in sound design from 2015 to 2017.
