Marek Kocan is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Managing Director at SilverEngine GmbH since November 2016, where the focus is on innovative software solutions and services that enhance telecommunications networks. Previously, Kocan held prominent roles at Nokia, including Lead Solutions Architect, where responsibilities included the design of cloud-native architectures for 5G core networks and leading cross-functional product development efforts. Kocan also served as Head of Engineering at Nokia, overseeing a global R&D organization, and spent nearly a decade at Siemens PSE in various engineering and program management roles. Kocan holds an MBA from Edinburgh Business School and a Master of Science in Software Engineering from Slovak University of Technology.
