Renato Vicari Mesa has a strong background in software development and engineering. Renato started their career as a Software Development Engineer at Samsung Electronics in 2010, where they worked until 2014. Following that, they worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Walmart Global eCommerce from 2014 to 2016, focusing on designing and developing scalable eCommerce solutions. Renato then joined iFood S/A as a Senior Software Engineer in 2016, where they played a key role in designing and developing the core logistics platform using Java and SpringBoot stack. In 2018, Renato joined SiDi as a Senior Software Development Engineer, where they worked on Samsung Cloud projects as a Tech Lead, providing support and skill transfer to the team. Since 2019, Renato has been working at Pier Seguradora, starting as an Engineering Lead, where they led two agile squads responsible for smartphone insurance product and operations. Renato then moved on to become an Engineering Manager and is currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager, responsible for managing developers, guiding their career development, and making architectural decisions for the platform.

From 2002 to 2004, Renato attended Colégio Técnico de Campinas - Unicamp, where they obtained a Technician degree in Informatics.

Starting in 2006 and ending in 2009, Renato pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Universidade Estadual de Campinas.

Finally, from 2017 to 2021, Renato pursued another Bachelor's degree, this time in Social Sciences, at USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
