Prakash Raman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Prakash currently serves as the Managing Director of Silox India Private Limited since April 2021. Prior to this, they held various leadership positions at Solvay, including Executive Vice President of Solvay Peroxides, Senior Vice President of Sulfone Polymers and Global Business Development Manager of Solvay Alternative Energy. From 2009 to 2015, Prakash was the Managing Director of Solvay India and the India Country Manager of Solvay Group. Prakash also worked as the Deputy Managing Director at Solvay from 2005 to 2009. Before joining Solvay, Prakash worked at DuPont as a Business Manager for over a decade. Prakash started their career at Asian Paints as a Production Executive from 1992 to 1994.

Prakash Raman completed their MBA in Marketing and Finance from Thiagarajar School of Management from 1997 to 1999. Prakash also earned a B.E degree in Chemical from Annamalai University between 1988 and 1992. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Certified Environment Auditor, DuPont Leadership and Management Program, Pinnacle Leadership Program, Six Sigma Black Belt, and Strategy Workshop from INSEAD Executive Education.
