Jeremy Cantu has a diverse work experience starting with their role as a Lead Cyber Operations Instructor at Silotech Group, Inc. from 2017. In this role, they developed course material and taught C Programming and x86-64 Assembly to students with varying IT backgrounds. Jeremy also assisted in C++ Programming and Software Reverse Engineering courses.
Prior to that, from 2015 to 2016, Jeremy worked as a Software Engineer at CNF Technologies, where they developed an ASP.NET website for cataloging the Defense Department's cryptographic equipment. Jeremy collaborated closely with customers to ensure their requirements were met and employed secure coding practices. Jeremy also assisted in migrating a SharePoint solution to Salesforce.
In 2014, Jeremy worked as a Graduate Assistant at St. Mary's University and took on the role of a Graduate Teaching Assistant from 2014 to 2015. In these positions, they provided various forms of support to faculty and contributed to academic activities.
From 2013 to 2014, Jeremy served as a Computer Scientist in the United States Air Force, and from 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Graduate Analyst at Southwest Research Institute. Prior to that, in 2011, they were an IT Intern at USAA, and in 2009, they served as an Intern at AX Enterprises.
Jeremy Cantu completed an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer and Information Sciences, General from San Antonio College in 2005-2009. Jeremy continued their education at St. Mary's University, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from 2009 to 2012. Jeremy then pursued further studies at St. Mary's University, completing a Master's Degree in Computer Science from 2014 to 2015.
