Stephen Timchak

Stephen Timchak has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Stephen started their career at the Pentagon (ISC) as an Operations Manager, where they oversaw the functioning and maintenance of the Army's largest data center. Stephen then moved on to the U.S Army Information Systems Selection and Acquisition Agency (USAISSAA), where they served as a Computer Specialist and IRM Analyst, playing a crucial role in the operational capability demonstration phase of the Reserve Component Automation System (RCAS).

After that, Timchak joined the U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command as a Management Officer, leading a team in various contracting activities and also involved in business development efforts. Stephen then became a Project Manager for the Buyers.Gov Reverse Auction Program, initiating a new product line and achieving significant cost savings through successful reverse auctions for IT products and aircraft parts.

Moving to the General Services Administration (GSA), Timchak served as a Program Executive for E-Authentication, responsible for implementing an identity federation infrastructure and establishing a federated identity solution to enhance service delivery in government. Stephen worked on this initiative from 2001 to 2006.

In 2008, Timchak founded their own consulting firm, Stephen A Timchak and Associates, offering consulting services in areas such as authentication, acquisition support, business process improvement, strategic planning, and change management. Stephen also had the ability to tap into a network of retired federal professionals for additional support if needed.

Lastly, Timchak worked as a Senior Program Manager at SiloSmashers, utilizing their expertise in program management. Stephen ultimately retired in 2016, ending their professional career at Gone Fishing.

Stephen Timchak completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration at Upper Iowa University in 1987. Stephen later attended the National Defense University, where the start year is unspecified, but they completed their education there in 1992.
