Mohammad Abdul Moniem

Principle Hardware Applications Engineer at Si-Vision

Mohammad Abdul Moniem has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Mohammad started their career in 2004 as a Design Engineer for Embedded Systems HW/SW, FPGA, and PCB at EgyptMicroSystems, where they were involved in the complete design of a digital single-phase power meter.

In 2006, they worked as a QA and library developer for Precision synthesizer at Mentor Graphics before transitioning to QuickTel as an Embedded Designer. At QuickTel, they designed and developed an analog fax module compliant with the V.32bis CCITT standard.

From 2007 to 2009, Mohammad worked as a Telecommunication Applications Engineer at Mindspeed Technologies, where they validated the functionality of software drivers and provided technical support to customers.

Mohammad then joined Partners Electronics as a Product Development Engineer and Senior HW Developer, where they were involved in product development, component resourcing, and HW design and customization.

In 2010, they joined PSATRI as an Avionics Systems Engineer and later became a Senior Embedded Design Engineer at the UAV lab, VISRL, where they developed DSP firmware and worked on fault-tolerant system design.

Mohammad worked as the Control Lab Manager at King Saud University from 2013 to 2015 before joining Si-Vision. At Si-Vision, Mohammad held various roles including Applications Engineering Team Lead, Senior Staff Applications Engineer, and currently serves as the Principle Hardware Applications Engineer.

Mohammad Abdul Moniem's education history includes earning a B.SC degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from Ain Shams University from 1999 to 2004. Afterwards, they pursued Master preparatory courses in the Communications & Electronics department at Ain Shams University from 2005 to 2006. Finally, they completed their Master Thesis in Design and Implementation of Ethernet MAC layer at Ain Shams University from 2007 to 2013.
