Aya El-Shaboury began their work experience in 2012 at IDT, where they worked as an HR professional until July 2014. In 2017, they joined both IEEE Zewail City and IEEE Women in Engineering - Zewail City as a treasurer, holding this position until June 2018. Aya then worked as a Sales and Marketing Engineer at CSTCO from October 2018 to April 2019. Aya continued their career at BIDO Company in April 2019 as an R&D Electronics engineer until March 2020. Currently, Aya serves as a Layout Design Engineer at Si-Vision since their start in March 2020, progressing to the role of Senior Analog Layout Design Engineer in March 2023.

From 2013 to 2018, Aya El-Shaboury attended the University of Science and Technology at Zewail City, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Nanotechnology.
