Nicholas van Haeften, P.E. has extensive experience in the power generation industry, currently serving as the Electric Division Manager for Generation at Silicon Valley Power since June 2020. Prior to this role, Nicholas held positions as Maintenance Manager and Operations Manager at San Joaquin Energy LLC from May 2015 to June 2020, and further contributed as a Senior Performance/Maintenance Engineer at STAR WEST GENERATION from January 2013 to May 2015. Nicholas began a career in power systems at GWF Power Systems as a Project Engineer and Performance Engineer from September 2007 until January 2013. Nicholas earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
