Matthew Reed is an experienced experimental physicist currently working at Silicon Microgravity Ltd since May 2021. Prior to this role, Matthew served as a Senior Technologist and Technologist at Mettler-Toledo International, Inc. from September 2017 to May 2021. Matthew's earlier experience includes roles as a Visiting Fellow and Research Fellow at The Australian National University, where Matthew built and implemented multiple experimental setups and analyzed complex data sets using various programming languages. Matthew has authored first-author publications and participated in collaborative projects, contributing to the analysis of data from the Gammasphere array at Argonne National Laboratory. Additionally, Matthew held a postdoctoral researcher position at the University of Surrey and possesses a Ph.D. in Experimental Nuclear Physics from the University of Surrey, along with a Master's in Physics with Astrophysics from the University of Leicester.
