Varinder Romley is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software quality assurance and management within the technology sector. Currently serving as the Director of Software QA at Silicon Labs since December 2020, Varinder oversees the quality assurance for IoT devices, having designed and established a high-end QA lab in Hyderabad. Previously, Varinder worked at Qualcomm from August 2014 to December 2020 as a Senior Staff Manager, leading a Bluetooth software test team for mobile and IoT products. Varinder's earlier roles include managing system test activities for Bluetooth-WiFi combo chips at CSR and leading various testing teams for GSM protocols at Hughes Software Systems and Lucent Technologies. Varinder holds an M. Tech. in Computer Science & Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and a B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering from Punjab Engineering College.
