Katharina Fernqvist is an experienced professional in product development and process engineering, currently serving as V.P. of Product Development at Silex Microsystems since May 2013, where previous roles included Group Manager and Product Manager. Prior to Silex Microsystems, Katharina worked as a Process Development Engineer at GLO AB from 2007 to March 2013, focusing on III-V nanowire LED device development. Early career experience includes a master thesis at ABB Corporate Research, investigating the corrosion of nanocomposite films. Katharina holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Material Science from Uppsala University and participated in an Erasmus exchange program in Chemistry at Freie Universität Berlin.
