Lauren Burke is a highly experienced Senior Battery Engineer at Sila Nanotechnologies Inc. since May 2022, specializing in the development of advanced battery technologies. Previously, Lauren served as a Materials Engineer at Cuberg, where significant contributions included leading the development of lithium metal cells for high-temperature applications and optimizing cathode designs. Earlier experience includes roles as a Research Associate and Electrochemical R&D Co-op, focusing on cell failure mechanisms and material viability for production. Lauren holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University, complemented by a foundational education at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy.
