Frank Schumann has over 25 years of experience in the field of railway energy supply systems. Currently serving as Fachgruppenleiter Bahnenergieversorgungsanlagen & Studien at SIGNON since August 2013, Frank Schumann has held this position under DB Netz AG since September 2021. Prior to this role, Frank Schumann worked at ELBAS Elektrische Bahnsysteme Ingenieur-Gesellschaft mbH from September 1996 to July 2013, where responsibilities included Büroleiter and Projektleiter for railway energy supply systems. Educational qualifications include a Diplom in Electrical Engineering specializing in Electric Transport Systems from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (1994-2000), and a Triebfahrzeugführer B/C license with a focus on Electrical Engineering from Ingenieurschule für Transportbetriebstechnik Gotha (1989-1992).
