Michael Linn has a wealth of work experience in the energy and cleantech industries. From 2013 to 2021, they worked for Royal Marine Engineering & Trading, a local partner of Chevron Corporation, as a Commercial & Technical Executive. In 2015, they were a Project Consultant for the North East Scotland Climate Change Partnership, where they were responsible for supporting the City Council with sustainable climate change strategies. From 2016 to 2018, they were the Head of Business Development for Highland Metals Pte. Ltd, a vertically integrated company based in Singapore and Myanmar. In 2021, they were a Commercial Adviser for Woodside Energy and, currently, they are the Global Key Account Manager at Signol, a cleantech SaaS company. In this role, they are responsible for building strategic relationships with global customers and overseeing the day-to-day operations of sales.
Michael Linn received their GCE A Levels from Bosworth Independent College in 2007-2009, majoring in Mathematics, Further mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. Michael then attended the University of Aberdeen from 2009-2013, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons in Chemistry. In 2014-2015, they completed a Master of Science (MSc) Project Management at Robert Gordon University, specializing in Project Management.
