Robert Oswalt

Senior Software Architect at Signix

Robert Oswalt has over 30 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Robert began their career in 1990 as a Senior Technologist, Member Group Technical Staff at Sterling Software / KnowledgeWare / Ernst & Young CASE Technologies, where they researched software architecture description languages for a project sponsored by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). In 1999, they joined NetCertainty as Chief Software Architect, where they wrote requirements, use case, and high-level design specifications for various system features. In 2002, they moved to RegistryPro as Vice President of Technology, where they participated in product concept development. Since 2004, they have been Senior Software Architect at SIGNiX, where they have patented new systems for creating digital signatures on legal documents and designed and built new functionality in existing digital signature systems.

Robert Oswalt began their educational journey at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they obtained a B.S. in Physics from 1971 to 1975. Robert then went on to receive an M.S. in Information and Computer Science from 1975 to 1976. In 1977 and 1978, they attended Northwestern University for Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. In April 2015, Robert Oswalt was awarded the Thales Certified Solution Developer (nCSD) certification from Thales eSecurity.
