Tim McCallum has extensive work experience in the engineering and maritime industry. Tim started their career as an Engineering Cadet at Military Sealift Command in 2010. Tim then joined Signet Maritime Corporation in 2011, where they worked as a Chief Engineer and later became the Manager of Marine Engineering for the Texas Region. In 2017, they transitioned to First Electric Motor Service as a Project Manager and Design Engineer in their Automation Division. However, they returned to Signet Maritime Corporation later that year, where they held various roles including Senior Manager of Engineering, Director of Technical Design and Application, Assistant Vice President of Engineering and Vessel Dynamics, and Vice President of Engineering and Vessel Dynamics. Currently, they are the Senior Vice President of Engineering, Technical, and Economics at Signet Maritime Corporation, responsible for leading the engineering department and overseeing fleet maintenance planning and budgeting. Tim is also a Company Officer and serves as the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Officer.

In February 2011, they acquired the Medical Care Provider certification from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy. Lastly, in December 2013, Tim completed the IDEC PLC-HMI Training offered by IDEC USA.
Most recently, in April 2020, Tim became an Asana Ambassador after completing the necessary training provided by Asana.
