Laba Busnawi has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. They started their career as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Cleveland State University in 1997. After that, Laba worked as a System Analyst at Global Risk Consultants from 1999 to 2001. They then joined Mobil Martin, Inc. as the Chief Executive Officer, where they held dual roles as CEO and CFO from 2001 to 2013. Laba also worked as an Armed Officer at AEGIS Security & Investigations Inc. from 2014 to 2015, and as a Field Manager at American Security from 2015 to 2018. Laba then worked as a Producer at New York Life Insurance Company from 2013 to 2018. They also served as an Armed Officer at Allied Universal from 2018 to 2021. Currently, Laba is the President of Signature Security since 2019 and the Chief Executive Officer of Home Helpers Home Care since 2021. Laba Busnawi holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance from Cleveland State University, which was obtained from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they pursued a Pre-MBA program at San Diego State University in 1996 and 1997. Laba also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Institut Sains dan Teknologi Nasional (ISTN) Jakarta, completed from 1989 to 1994. Additionally, Laba has obtained several certifications, including CPR/AED/First Aid from the American Heart Association and Private Patrol Operator and Qualified Manager licenses from the California Department of Consumer Affairs. Laba is also licensed as a Life and Health Insurance Agent and a Real Estate Broker/Sales Agent, both conferred by the respective governing bodies in California.
