ara brings to Signal Partners sixteen years of experience across both financial services and executive search. Her practice centers on recruiting for private equity, private debt and venture capital sponsors and portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Signal, Tara was an Executive Senior Partner at Lucas Group, a national executive search firm, where she spent nearly nine years executing search assignments for firms such as Brynwood Partners, Monroe Capital, Winona Capital and Z Capital.

Tara began her career as an Analyst at Merrill Lynch and is also the co-founder and President of Rescue Chicago, an animal welfare NPO that provides much-needed support to Chicago area animal shelters, rescues and pet owners in need.

Tara has a bachelor of science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and served on the Advisory Board of the College of Business for six years. She first dipped her toe into the recruiting world as Director of Formal Recruitment for her sorority, Alpha Phi and later as a recruitment advisor to multiple chapters.
