Anna Orellana is a Development Geologist at Signal Hill Petroleum, Inc. since June 2011, where responsibilities include evaluating prospects within Miocene and Pliocene turbidite systems through well data analysis, log interpretation, and 3D seismic mapping. Previous roles at the company include Geologist, focusing on lithologic correlation and map generation, and Geology Technician, dedicated to digitizing well logs and generating cross sections. Anna began the career as a Geotech Intern, primarily digitizing well logs. Prior to this, a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks Coffee Company from June 2004 to November 2011 managed employees and inventory while creating a productive work environment. Anna earned a B.S. in Earth Science with an emphasis in Hydrogeology from California State University, Long Beach, in 2009.
