Bryan Allen

Director of Software at SigmaSense

Bryan Allen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Bryan is currently working at SigmaSense, where they hold the position of Director of Software since September 2022. Prior to this role, Bryan was employed as a Senior Software Engineer at SigmaSense from July 2018 to May 2023.

Before joining SigmaSense, Bryan worked at Marvell Semiconductor starting from May 2010. During their tenure there, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer and was responsible for various tasks. As a Linux Kernel Lead, they successfully completed the initial bring-up of the Linux kernel on multiple ARM-based chips and platforms. Additionally, Bryan founded PicDoctors LLC in April 2012. This side business focused on facilitating paid photo editing between artists and clients requiring Photoshop services. Bryan architected the web solution using Python (Django framework), CSS, and Javascript (Ember.js framework). Bryan also handled server operations, including maintenance, deployments, and database management.
