Ali Attar began their career in 2016 as the Project Director for Mathscon, where they were part of the founding team and was in charge of planning the event's structure, contacting speakers, finding sponsors and giving a soul to the charity through branding, posters, graphics and content. In 2017, Ali took on the role of Graduate Tutor for Mathematics at Imperial College London and Data Scientist at ZINE. In the same year, they founded Loop, where they developed A.I. for social life. In 2019, Ali became the Founder and CEO of Purpl Events, a platform for organizing events with instant venue booking, catering that adapts to guests' preferences, and the cheapest ticketing options. In 2020, Ali took on roles as Founder and CEO of Dromadis Health, building Asparagus, the first device that effortlessly analyses diet balance, and Product Engineer at VUI Diagnostics, designing and building the device's companion mobile app and working alongside regulators. Ali also became a Scout at Odin and a LD15 Cohort Member at Entrepreneur First. Finally, in 2021, Ali founded SigmaOS, a macOS browser delivering the fastest experience for working on the web.
Ali Attar's education history includes attending Y Combinator in 2021 for their Summer 2021 (S21) program, obtaining a Master's Degree in Mathematics from Imperial College London from 2014 to 2018, obtaining a Scientific Baccalauréat in Mathematics from Lycée Français International George Pompidou from 2011 to 2014, attending Harvard University's Summer School Program in 2013 for Electronics, and attending Harvard University's Summer School Program in 2012 for Mathematics and Astrobiology.
