David Metz has a diverse work experience in the field of photography and marketing. David started their career as an Instructor at School City of Gary, where they taught English, dramatics, and photography. David then moved to Purdue University as an Adjunct Instructor before joining Canon USA, Inc as a Regional Technical Representative. In this role, they provided technical support for consumers and conducted consumer education programs. At Canon USA, Inc, they also served as a National Technical Manager, overseeing support activities and creating training materials for consumer education. David later joined Canon U.S.A as an Assistant General Manager-Marketing, where they supervised the marketing department, developed educational programs, and founded the Canon Professional Services Program. Currently, they are the Director of Market Support Operations at Sigma Corp of America, where they plan and executes trade shows and directs the Sigma Pros endorsement photographer program.
David Metz earned a Master's Degree from Purdue University between 1965 and 1973, specializing in Interpersonal Communications, Rhetoric, Theatre, and English Literature. In 1975 and 1976, they attended Valparaiso University to study Photography, although they did not obtain a specific degree in this field.
