Mahadev K. began their career in 2010 as a Graduate Fellow at the University of Minnesota. In 2011, they became an Engineer at Medtronic, where they worked on firmware development and testing for the Medtronic Carelink Programmer. In 2012, they joined NetApp as a Member of Technical Staff, where they built a system to improve failure detection using machine learning on support data. In 2013, they moved to Juniper Networks as a Software Engineer - SecIntel, where they built backend services for their anti-malware solution and developed and maintained aggregation of malware/software feeds for feature learning. In 2016, they joined Postmates by Uber as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on backend systems for the Postmates courier platform. In 2018, they joined Zero Financial, Inc. as a Software Engineer until it was acquired by Avant, LLC. Mahadev then moved to Lyft as an Engineering Manager and Staff Engineer/Manager - Infrastructure (Datastores). Mahadev K. is currently an Engineering Manager at Sigma Computing (hiring!). Theirteam owns backend services for the lifecycle of a query and transforming results.

Mahadev K. holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
