Insung Ko has seven years of work experience. In 2022, they began working as a Solutions Engineer for Sigma Computing (hiring!). Insung also began working as a Business Intelligence Data Analyst for Interos Inc. in the same year. In 2021, they worked as a Data Analyst for Project Consulting Services. In 2020, they were a Junior Data Analyst for Prestige Staffing. In 2019, they were a Product Supply Manufacturing Engineer for Procter & Gamble, where they maximized machine's run time and eliminated losses with Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma tools. In 2018, they were a Process Engineer Intern for CSP Technologies, Inc., where they developed and implemented a procedure to hydrate desiccant film to a specified moisture content and updated quality control database's packaging/process specs. In 2014, they were a Lab Assistant for the USDA National Soil Dynamics Laboratory.

Insung Ko obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 2015 and 2019. In 2020, Ko obtained the Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate certification from Microsoft. In 2023, Ko obtained the Databricks Certified Data Analyst Associate certification from Databricks.
