Kate McKown is the President of the Sigma Lambda chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Pi, overseeing management and communication between the organization and various stakeholders since December 2023. Currently a member of the Safety and Security Student Advisory Board at The George Washington University, Kate previously served as an Associate Intern at Impact Research and as an Assistant Instructor at Eye Level Learning. In the summer of 2021, Kate contributed to curriculum development on gender and sexuality for middle and high school students at The Public Health Institute of Metropolitan Chicago. Additionally, a former Blog Contributor at Everspring Inc., Kate shared insights on public health resources. Kate holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from The George Washington University, anticipated in 2025, and graduated with a High School Diploma from North Shore Country Day School in 2021.
