Andrew Walshe is the Head of Portfolio Operations at Sightway Capital, a Two Sigma company. Andrew is responsible for the financial operations of the private equity portfolio and works to enhance performance and growth. Prior to joining Sightway Capital, Mr. Walshe was the Associate Director of Finance, Special Projects Group at AIG where they collaborated with senior management to develop, analyze and review business performance and strategic opportunities.
Mr. Walshe began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2003 as a Manager and Senior Associate in the audit practice. In 2009, they joined Alvarez & Marsal as a Director in the Transaction Advisory Group. In 2013, they moved to Marlin Equity Partners as Vice President of Finance for Changepoint, Uniface & Lochbridge and Manager of the Marlin Operations Group.
In 2016, Mr. Walshe founded and became the Head of Portfolio Operations at Sightway Capital. Andrew has also served as a Board Member and advisor to Dext Capital, a leading healthcare equipment financing company, since 2018.
Andrew Walshe has a Master of Accounting from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hampden-Sydney College, and a certification from the AICPA as a Certified Public Accountant. Andrew also took general courses in economics at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
They are on a team with Alex Kartalyan - Vice President – Accounting & Operations, Michael Gross - Investment Partner, and Todd Menszak - Head of Private Funds & Investment Advisory Legal. and Joyce Li - Director, Portfolio Operations reports to Andrew Walshe. Andrew Walshe reports to Wray Thorn, Chief Investment Officer.
