SightCall Solution architecture organization is part of the SightCall VISION factory, the entity in charge of designing, implementing and deploying custom solutions that meet customer’s expectations.
As SightCall US Lead solution architect you are skilled at identifying pain points and designing or modifying technical solutions to solve customers problems. The Lead solution architect will be deeply involved in daily work across all business units, regularly interacting with both stakeholders and subject matter experts. They will manage a small team of developers, based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Solution Architecture sits at the interface between sales and product and is tasked with ensuring that SightCall not only continues to deliver the best in class solutions in the Visual Assistance market but also drives the evolution of our customer base through SightCall VISION, the future of enterprise service.
Responsibilities
Solution architecture is a complex process with many sub-processes that bridges the gap between business problems and technology solutions. Solution Architect’s goals are to:
- Support the pre-sales process by describing the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of the SightCall platform to project stakeholders
- Define features, development phases, and solution requirements
- Provide specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered
- Provide an estimate of time and resources required to deliver the solution
- Build the solution defined in the SOW, develop and review code, leverage SightCall’s studio and its multiple APIs and integrations
- Deliver the solution to the client and ensure its satisfaction
- Partner with teams across business functions to drive organizational efficiency
- Provide level 3 support as an escalation point
Requirements
- 10+ years of technical experience in software development, architecture, implementation, preferably B2B SaaS software
- Experience building trusted relationships with executive sponsors and end users
- Technical background or clear understanding of software products
- Knowledge of software development process and technical skills: Solution Architects must know the technical aspects of projects to identify risks, propose immediate solutions and drive their implementation.
- Communication skills: communicate with all stakeholders such as software engineers, management, clients, and partners. Convey technical language to other stakeholders often in non-technical terms.
- Project management skills: train and manage a team of junior developers
- Organizational and time management skills: keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Familiarity with coding languages, operating systems, and databases
- Understanding of process optimization and deployment
