Matt Carroll has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several industries. Their most recent position is as the Chief Operating Officer at Sports Interactive (SI), where they support the Studio Director and team members to deliver interactive entertainment. This role involves various aspects of business operations, development, strategy, and HR. Prior to this, Matt held several roles at The Walt Disney Company, including Account Management Director, Commercial Director for Games, and Country Director for multiple regions. Matt also worked at AvantGo as the European Marketing Director, Hasbro Interactive as the European Brand Director, Microprose as the European Marketing Manager, and Reed Children's Books and Dorling Kindersley as a Marketing Executive. Additionally, they were a member and Treasurer of the UKIE association for the UK interactive entertainment industry and worked as a Consultant for Hurricane Marketing. Matt has rich experience in marketing, sales, and management, with a focus on the gaming and entertainment sectors.
Matt Carroll completed their BA Hons in Geography with European Study at the University of Exeter from 1987 to 1991. Later, from 1995 to 1996, they pursued their MBA with a focus on Marketing at the City University Business School.
