Deborah Zeboskey has extensive experience in health information management and office management. Deborah began their career in 1981 as an Office Manager at William H. Goodin, M.D., where they oversaw all aspects of the physician's practice and was responsible for accounts receivable and payable. From 1987 to 1991, they held a similar role at Lyle B. Stillwater, M.D. In 1991, they joined Sierra View Medical Center as the Director of Health Information Management, where they established and monitored standards of performance among the HIM staff and ensured regulatory compliance. Deborah also served as the Director of Health Information Management/Chief Privacy Officer, overseeing continuing education for the HIM staff and maintaining regulatory requirements. Additionally, they worked at Sierra View District Hospital as a Decision Support Analyst, handling information system analysis, testing, implementation, and support, as well as creating and monitoring reporting information. Deborah also worked as a Certified Coder, monitoring coding accuracy and training medical record personnel. Overall, Deborah Zeboskey has a wealth of experience in health information management and office management roles.
Deborah Zeboskey has a strong educational background in the field of health informatics. Deborah obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Paranormal Science from the IMHS Metaphysics Institute in 2020. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Health Informatics at Walden University from 2016 to 2017. Their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Informatics was also earned from Walden University from 2011 to 2015.
Additionally, Deborah has several certifications related to health information management. Deborah obtained the ICD-10-CM Trainer certification from AHIMA in June 2011. In October 1999, they became a Registered Health Information Technician through AHIMA. Deborah obtained the Certified Coding Specialist - Physician based (CCS-P) certification in September 1998 and the Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification in July 1995, both from AHIMA.
