Alex Yeckley has extensive experience in the engineering field, currently serving as Manager of Engineered Systems at Sierra Lobo, Inc. since July 2001, focusing on technical and personnel management, business development, and community outreach. Prior roles at Sierra Lobo include Acting Director, Engineered Systems and Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer, where Alex led significant projects in the Aerospace and Defense sector. Additional experience includes mechanical engineering positions at Diebold and IBM, and a graduate research assistantship at The University of Toledo, where Alex conducted advanced research in smart materials. Alex also participated as a cast member on a STEM-themed reality TV competition for Discovery Networks in 2020.
