Andrea PREDEN is an accomplished maritime professional with extensive experience in various roles within the shipping and maritime industry. Currently serving as a Nautical Flag Inspector at the Barbados Maritime Ship Registry since June 2023, Andrea has also held the position of Chief Operations Officer at SHIP & BOAT S.r.l. since July 2009, focusing on design, stability, and maritime regulations. Additionally, Andrea has been involved with the Palau International Ship Registry as Deputy Registrar and Ispettore marittimo, and has served as a Marine Surveyor and auditor at Dromon Bureau of Shipping since June 2013. Other notable roles include Flag State Inspector for Sierra Leone Maritime Administration and St. Vincent and the Grenadines Maritime Administration, as well as a NON-EXCLUSIVE SURVEYOR at RINA. Andrea holds a degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Università degli Studi di Trieste and a technical qualification in Nautical Engineering.
