Nadine Wilburn has a wealth of experience in the legal field. Nadine began their career in 1992 as a Temporary Attorney at Casson and Harkins before moving on to roles at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia. At the Attorney General's Office, they served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel in various divisions, including Civil Litigation and Commercial, specializing in general and housing litigation. Nadine then worked as a Senior Associate General Counsel at Howard University Office of the General Counsel. Following this, they returned to the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia as an Assistant Deputy Corporation Counsel. Nadine later became the Interim Director at the District of Columbia Office of Human Rights before assuming the role of Chief Counsel and Senior Advisor to the Attorney General in the Personnel Labor & Employment Division. Nadine is currently the General Counsel for Employment and Senior Director for Labor Relations at Sierra Club. Through their varied roles, Nadine has developed expertise in personnel actions, collective bargaining agreements, employment and service contracts, constitutional law, civil rights, and disability law.
Nadine Wilburn obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Rollins College in the years 1985 to 1988. Later, from 1988 to 1991, they attended Howard University School of Law, earning a Doctor of Law (JD) degree.
