Peter Koerte is a distinguished executive with extensive experience in technology and strategy within Siemens AG and Siemens Healthineers. Currently serving as a Member of the Managing Board of Siemens AG since February 2020, Peter Koerte holds responsibilities for Siemens Advanta, Siemens Xcelerator, and foundational technologies. In February 2023, Peter Koerte transitioned to the role of Chief Technology Officer and Chief Strategy Officer at Siemens Healthineers, where previous roles included Executive Vice President Digital Health and Senior Vice President Diagnostic Imaging. A former member of the Supervisory Board of Siemens Healthineers from April 2011 to January 2020, Peter Koerte also gained significant experience at The Boston Consulting Group as a Consultant. Education includes a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, a PhD in Business Strategy and International Trade from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, and completion of the General Management Program at Harvard Business School.
