Koustubh Ashtekar is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the electrical engineering sector, currently serving as a Senior R&D Engineer at JST Power Equipment since October 2021. Responsibilities include the development and qualification of gas insulated medium voltage switchgear products and global product management. Prior roles include Lead MV breaker design Engineer at Eaton, where Koustubh formulated innovation events and managed new product development, and Senior Development Engineer at ABB Inc, focusing on heat transfer analysis and project management of seismic testing for medium voltage circuit breakers. Earlier experiences encompass roles at ESAB in plasma process research and manufacturing engineering at Bajaj Auto Ltd, supported by solid academic credentials with a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor's degree from COEP Technological University.
