Poorna Rao is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in mechanical engineering. Currently serving as Engineering Manager and Team Lead at Siemens Gamesa since March 2015, Poorna has previously held the position of Lead Engineer at GE Power & Water from December 2007 to February 2015, and worked as a Research Fellow at Aeronautical Development Agency from February 2006 to November 2007, focusing on the design and analysis of aircraft components. Poorna holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sri Venkateswara University, completed between 2001 and 2005.
