Athmane Bouakkaz is an experienced sourcing and supply chain professional with a strong background in global purchasing management. Currently serving as Global Sourcing Manager at Sidel since June 2019, Athmane leads a team of five buyers across multiple countries, managing a substantial budget of 116 million euros and focusing on supplier development and compliance. Previously held the position of Multi Site Sourcing Commodity Leader at Sidel, where Athmane implemented sourcing strategies across 15 sites. Prior experience includes roles at Honeywell, where Athmane managed procurement for a new production site, and Valeo, where responsibilities included optimizing a purchasing portfolio and negotiating supplier contracts. Athmane also has experience in sales and marketing from roles at Bolloré and IGUAZU, respectively. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in procurement and management from EM Normandie Business School and a Licence in Commercial Negotiation from Université de Rouen.
