Carla de Mello, LMFT, is an experienced mental health professional with a career spanning over a decade. Carla has held positions at Side by Side since 2009, serving as both a Clinical Case Manager and Mental Health Clinician, where responsibilities included providing intensive behavioral interventions for families and developing treatment plans. Additionally, Carla worked as a Psychotherapist in Private Practice from April 2019 to May 2021 and served as Mentor Supervisor at Instituto Familiar de La Raza, overseeing clinical supervision for service providers aiding children with severe emotional issues. Earlier roles included internships as a Mental Health Counselor at Bay Area Community Resources and Kentfield Middle School, where counseling was provided to students. Carla holds a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from San Francisco State University.
